Help — Quote Box

Last updated 2026-10-30 · Questions: beobjoong@gmail.com

What it does

Quote Box adds a Request a quote button to product pages and can hide the price and Add to cart on every product or only on tagged products. Shoppers send a request from the product page; you set a unit price and Shopify emails them an invoice with a checkout link. When they pay, it is a regular order in your store.

Nothing in your theme is edited: the quote form is an app block you place yourself, and removing the app leaves nothing behind.

Set up

  1. Install the app and open it from Apps in your Shopify admin. The home screen shows new quote requests.
  2. Place the form: go to Online Store → Themes → Customize, open a product template, choose Add block in the product information section and pick Quote Box. Save.
  3. In the block settings choose whether to hide the price and Add to cart on all products or only on products with a tag, add up to two questions of your own, and set the button and form wording.
  4. Answer a request: open it on the app home, enter the unit price and how long the quote stays valid, and send. Shopify emails the shopper an invoice with a checkout link; the paid invoice becomes an order.
